Church Life - Our Sunday Meetings
As you'll have seen on our homepage, our main all-church weekly meeting is on Sunday morning at 10:30 (come at 10:00 for coffee).
These meetings generally consist of a significant amount of exuberant praise and worship in song (in a fairly contemporary style), prayer, personal testimony and Bible-based preaching. We encourage the exercising of gifts of the Holy Spirit in our meetings (1 Corinthians 14:1-5, 26). We expect to hear the prophetic voice of God when we come together, and usually have a lot of contributions from the congregation.
Everyone is together for the first part of the meeting for praise and worship in song. This is followed by a short break before the teaching time, during which the children go to their own classes (you can learn more about the children's classes here ).
The atmosphere is friendly and informal, and the meetings usually last around two hours.
